Thousands of people gathered at Vatican City to witness Mother Teresa being pronounced as “Saint Teresa of Calcutta” for her selfless and unending work, done by her for the betterment of lives of under privileged children and orphan girls  at home in Kolkata.

Mother Teresa sold her family home at New Jersey for this purpose and set up a home in Behala, Kolkata to house orphan girls.

Mother Teresa also wrote several books on the up-liftment of underprivileged children.

In view of her work for the society, at St. Peter’s Square Pope Francis pronounced Mother Teresa as Saint Teresa
