Akshay Kumar starrer Film ‘PADMAN’ is finally going to be released on 9th February, 2018 which is based on real life story of Tamil Nadu based social activist Arunachalam Murugananthum who brought revolution in the sphere of menstrual hygiene in rural India by making a low cost sanitary napkins machine.

The film is being directed by R.Balki and Sonam Kapoor, Radhika Apte are in lead role along with Akshay Kumar.

As with the previous film of Akshay Kumar, this film is also conveying a message as it is surrounding around women hygiene and sanitary pads.

The motto of the film is to spread awareness regarding sanitary pads among rural India and to remove stigma or taboo of the society over the concept of menstrual hygiene. The movie aimed to educate masses including men and women both about the menstrual sanitation and utility of sanitary napkins.

Earlier the film was scheduled to be released on 25th January but its release has been postponed to Feb 9 by Akshay Kumar due to clash of film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed film ‘Padmavat’.

A worth seeing movie which is full of entertainment, laughter and gives social message.
