The Government is going to ease the process of Company Registration for new Companies. It is going to make it speedier and friendlier for applicants and now they will be required to furnish only need based information to get registration of a new entity.
Corporate affairs Minister Injeti Srinivas told that now applicants may reserve name of company by providing minimum requisites information only. He added that the applicant need not required to give so many details for reservation of the name of the company as name reservation might not lead to company registration. Now, name of company is reserved for 20 days while earlier it was for 60 days.
A new scheme for reservation of name of company is being formulated and is expected to be prepared till January 26, 2018.
The Minister informed that the Central Registration Process could also be extended up to Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs).
The Ministry has also started a Corporate Data Portal which enables the stakeholder to get customized data on corporates.
