India is facing the problem of generation of employment and productive jobs since long. However, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has projected that measures and reforms that took place in India would create plenty of jobs in India. IMF noted that Indian economy has been growing steadily which would surely create employment which would lead to improvement in standard of living of Indian population. Poverty would also get reduced after generation of fresh employment.

The chances of creation of jobs has taken a boost due to recent reforms like implementation of Goods and Service Tax (GST) which would help to increase efficiency and productivity in the sphere of employment generation. Secondly, the reforms took place as the government took step to make labor laws more flexible which would also help in employment generation in the near future.

Apart from IMF projections over job creation in India, Nobel laureate and globally acclaimed economist Joseph Stiglitz has also said that though creation of jobs and environment are the two big worries for the Indian economy still India will continue to grow and become a strong economy.
